On 13 March 2015, category 5 Cyclone Pam hit Vanuatu severely affecting over 200,000 people. In order to identify how, based on the wide array of experiences and lessons from Cyclone Pam, the Shelter Cluster response in future disaster contexts can be improved, a workshop was held on 28 May with participants from 17 organisations.
This report was prepared by IFRC and reflects the Lessons Learned process and workshop organised end of May 2015. These lessons are intended to inform the broader National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) lessons learned workshop, and the future development of the Shelter Cluster in Vanuatu.
