On 13 March 2015, category 5 Cyclone Pam hit Vanuatu severely affecting over 200,000 people. In order to identify how, based on the wide array of experiences and lessons from Cyclone Pam, the Logistics Cluster response in future disaster contexts can be improved, a workshop was held with participants representing NDMO, Prime Minister Office, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Trade, UNICEF, WFP, FAO, WHO, Vanuatu red Cross, IFRC, OXFAM and New Zealand Aid and New Zealand High Commission). Based on the workshop discussions, as well as emergency coordination reports and data analysed by WFP/GLC consultants, this report summarises key lessons and recommendations for the Vanuatu Logistics Cluster.
