We aim to promote the use of learning to improve humanitarian response by providing useful insights into how and when organisations and individuals across the sector learn effectively. Our learning series below explores the accelerators and challenges to learning that occur in different humanitarian contexts.
What changes do we all need to make?
We believe fundamental shifts in approaches and cultures are urgently needed that recognise and respond to complex humanitarian crises and the nature of learning itself. But we must show how this can lead to meaningful change.
We also believe humanitarians everywhere can be bolder in increasing and diversifying learning opportunities across the sector. We must embrace approaches more suited to the true complexity of change and different learning experiences. And we should be more receptive and responsive to learning.
