USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA)

As the U.S. government's leading humanitarian agency, USAID provides vital aid to tens of millions of people around the world each year. Each year, they provide food, water, shelter, health care, and other critical aid to people in more than 70 countries. As well as disasters, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanoes, they provide assistance to people affected by slow-onset crises, such as droughts and wars.
