This Global Nutrition Cluster webinar presented the findings of the Elrha-funded Research to Action in Humanitarian Settings (R2HC) study, which assessed the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of Cash Plus interventions for preventing acute malnutrition among children under five and pregnant and lactating women in Somalia. The session featured contributions from Save the Children, Johns Hopkins University, the Somali Ministry of Health, and global cash and nutrition specialists. Speakers underscored the scale of malnutrition in Somalia and discussed the implications of the findings for designing more impactful, evidence-based nutrition and cash programming in humanitarian contexts.
