October 2024 Edition, part 1
This second release of NetHope’s Guide builds on the May 2023 edition, which explored the early promise and risks of generative AI for nonprofits. This 2024 edition part 1 now broadens the focus to how AI can be scaled and applied in humanitarian contexts, looking beyond routine tasks to show how these technologies can actively support nonprofit missions. The guide encourages responsible adoption through ethical frameworks, collaboration, and capacity building, with the ultimate aim of helping nonprofits use AI to strengthen humanitarian action while safeguarding the communities they serve.
