This report provides a comprehensive assessment of Uganda’s disability data landscape and its role in supporting the economic inclusion of persons with disabilities. It reviews the governance arrangements for disability data, maps existing government and non-government data sources, and examines how disability data is produced, accessed and used in policy and programme decision-making. The report identifies key gaps in data quality, coverage, disaggregation, accessibility and institutional coordination, and sets out practical recommendations to strengthen national data systems and support more inclusive policies and services.
