Every year, Charities Aid Foundation’s (CAF) World Giving Report series explores the trends shaping generosity and civil society around the world through two reports. This Donor Insights Report tracks people’s attitudes and behaviours towards giving in more than 100 countries and territories around the world.
CAF partners with organisations across every continent for the World Giving Report series. By combining local expertise with global research, they aim to produce a more in-depth understanding of generosity, with the aim of supporting and encouraging greater and more impactful giving. CAF believes that sharing knowledge is essential to developing resilient organisations and thriving philanthropic ecosystems. In this report, CAF explores how people give in countries around the world and what influences giving so that we can take steps to nurture and build generosity. The next edition of the Charity Insights Report will be published in September 2026 and will examine trends facing social purpose organisations in civil societies around the world, thanks to the work of our partners.
